Since 1970, the East Windsor Police Athletic League has provided programs for the children of our community.  Over 3000 children a year participate in EW PAL programs, providing a vital outlet for the youth of our community.

We are now preparing for our fall soccer program, our oldest and largest program.  As you can appreciate, programs of this magnitude require significant resources.  As a volunteer organization, we rely on a dedicated group of individuals, who give countless hours of their time, not only coaching, but scheduling games, lining fields, and taking care of the multitude of details required to keep a program of this size running.

Our sponsors help to provide necessary finances for uniforms and equipment, and help defray the costs of maintaining the fields.  Many of you have supported our programs in the past, as team sponsors, and we thank you.  We appreciate everything that you, our local businesses, have done for us.

We continue to work hard, doing our best to keep costs down.  You may recall that last year, through diligent management, negotiating more favorable terms, and seeking out new suppliers, we were able to lower the cost of your tax-deductible*  team sponsorship to $150 for the fall season.  I am pleased to say that despite rising costs, we’ve continued to work hard to control expenses, and as a result, there is no increase in the team sponsorship fee.

Many of our local businesses have children of your own playing in PAL programs.  As a sign of appreciation for sponsoring a team, we will also waive/refund the Family Fundraising Fee portion of the registration fee, for any of you that have a child, grandchild, or child of an employee, who is registered for the recreation soccer program.  Without your sponsorship, our programs could not be successful, and this is one small way to say “thank you”. 

As a sponsor, your business’ name will appear on your sponsored team’s shirts.  You will receive a sponsor plaque, with a photograph of your sponsored team, to display in your place of business.  Your business’ name will appear in the game recaps, published in the Windsor Hights Herald and Cranbury Press.  Of course, these are relatively small benefits.  The real reward is the goodwill you establish with the local community.
